Preparation

Ask an adult for help and supervision!

Give your mould and melting jug a good clean if required. Rinse them with hot water and allow them to fully air dry before use (or use a lint-free cloth).

Step #1

Put on your pair of black gloves to protect your hands.

Empty one of your pouches of goat's milk soap base into the plastic pouring jug.

ree

Step #2

Add in one of your colour blocks. If you would like a lighter colour than mine, you can easily cut this to use less.

ree

Step #3

Microwave your soap base and colour block for 30 seconds only.

Stir your soap base after 30 seconds in the microwave, using your large wooden stirrer.

ree

Step #4

Continue to microwave in 20-30 second bursts, mixing well after each burst, until all lumps have fully melted. Do not microwave any more than necessary to avoid burning your base.

ree

Step #5

Take one bottle of your monkey farts fragrance oil and pour this into your soap mix.

ree

Step #6

Stir to combine well for approximately 1-2 minutes. Stir gently to avoid introducing too many bubbles to the mix.

ree

Step #7

Gently and slowly pour your soap mix into your choice of 4 of the mould shapes.

ree

Step #8

As soon as you have poured this soup into the mould, spray the surface with your rubbing alcohol. This is crucial to pop the surface bubbles and ensure a flat base for your soaps.

ree

Step #9

Empty a second pouch of goat's milk soap base into the plastic pouring jug. Add your second colour block (or less if desiring a paler shade).

ree

Step #10

Repeat steps 3-6 above with your next colour soap mix.

ree

Step #11

Once you have your melted base, and have added your fragrance, gently pour your pink soap base into your choice of 4 mould shapes.

ree

Step #12

As soon as you have poured this soup into the mould, spray the surface with your rubbing alcohol. This is crucial to pop the surface bubbles and ensure a flat base for your soaps.

ree

Step #13

Empty the final pouch of goat's milk soap base into the plastic pouring jug. Add your final colour block (or less if desiring a paler shade).

ree

Step #14

Repeat steps 3-6 above with your final colour soap mix.

ree

Step #15

Once you have your melted base, and have added your fragrance, gently pour your pink soap base into your choice of 4 mould shapes.

ree

Step #16

As soon as you have poured this soup into the mould, spray the surface with your rubbing alcohol. This is crucial to pop the surface bubbles and ensure a flat base for your soaps.

ree

Step #17

Allow your soap to set for a few hours to overnight. Gently remove the soaps from your mould. The soaps will harden a little more if you leave them for a week to cure, however, they are safe to use immediately.

Lather and enjoy!
